What is Cold Porcelain (Porcelana Fria)?

Cold porcelain is a quick air-drying paste. The finish is very fine providing great detail to the finished creation and great flexibility for the Artist. 

 

No kiln or firing is required, thereby the name "Cold" Porcelain is attributed to this craft medium. 

Where did it come from?

Cold porcelain (porcelaina fria) originated in Argentina where it is still imported from today.

 

The original formula was developed by a couple from Buenos Aires.
